treadmills and stationary bikes

Here's a brief list of the state-of-the-art equipment at the Humana Fitness and Wellness Center available to our members:

Weight machines

All weight machines are by Pro Maxima and are in the Performance Plus line. All have adjustable weight to add as much resistance as needed. and all of the weight machines are set up to be completed as a whole body circuit work out or can also be used for building and strengthening of a specific muscle group.

  • Shoulder Press: strengthens the shoulder muscles. Adjustable weight: 15–225 lbs.
  • Incline Chest Press: strengthens chest, shoulders, and arm muscles. Adjustable weight: 20–300 lbs.
  • Rear Deltoid/ Pectoral Contractor: strengthens the shoulders and chest muscles. Adjustable weight: 15–225 lbs.
  • Vertical Chest: strengthens the chest, shoulders, arm muscles adjustable weight: 20–300 lbs.
  • Lat Pull with Low row: works the back and shoulder muscles. Adjustable weight: 15–225 lbs.
  • Seated Cable Row: strengthens the erector spin, trapezius and latissimus muscle groups
  • Weight assisted pull up and dip: strengthens the back, shoulders, and triceps. Adjustable weight: 15–195lb
  • Triceps extension: strengthens the triceps. Adjustable weight: 10–150 lbs.
  • Biceps curl: works the bicep muscle group and the forearm muscles. Adjustable weight: 10–150 lbs.
  • Abdominal crunch: strengthens the central abdominal muscles and hip flexors adjustable weight: 15–225 lbs.
  • Low back: works the back muscles. Adjustable weight: 15–225 lbs.
  • Inner/ outer thigh: strengthen the thigh muscles. Adjustable weight: 15–225 lbs.
  • Glute Hamstring developer: strengthens the buttocks and back or the thigh area. Adjustable weight: 10–150 lbs.
  • Leg curl: works the hamstring muscles. Adjustable weight: 15–225 lbs.
  • Leg extensions with range of motion: works the quadriceps muscle group adjustable weight: 10–250 lbs.
  • Seated leg press: strengthens all the leg muscles. Adjustable weight: 20–400 lbs.

Cardio machines

All of the cardio equipment is by Stex, unless otherwise noted, and each of them is equipped with a heart rate monitor.

Spin bikes

We have 20 spin bikes by Star Trac in the spinner pro series.

Spin classes are taught on these bikes in a separate spin room. We offer spin classes in the mornings and evenings.
