Civic Center Web Site offers Virtual tour of Future Downtown Anchor
As Port St. Lucie’s new Civic Center prepares to open by the end of the year, a new Web site is now available to help residents get a better idea of what the new 100,000 square foot facility will look like when it opens.
The new Web site features a virtual tour of some of the construction that has been completed, including a panoramic view of the surrounding area from the top of the Civic Center’s tower. The Civic Center will serve as the anchoring feature of the new downtown that is under construction in the city’s Community Redevelopment Area, between U.S. Highway and Lennard Road.
The Web site also includes artists’ renderings of the architecture, a photo gallery, and information about the Civic Center’s benefactor program, which allows individuals and corporations to permanently name key parts of the building. The photo gallery includes an image of the design plan for the interactive fountain that will be in front of the building.
Booking information for rooms and the banquet hall also can be found on the site, along with contact information for the management team planning the success of this future city landmark.
