City Offers Free Lunch on July 11 to Celebrate National Parks and Recreation Month
The City of Port St. Lucie Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce July as Parks and Recreation Month, and is inviting the public to a free lunch at Veterans’ Memorial Park on July 11 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. The first 500 people will receive a hot dog, drink and bag of chips.
Public Parks and Recreation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for millions of residents in communities and cities around the world though recreation programming, leisure activities and conservation efforts.
The Parks and Recreation Department wants all citizens to enjoy what the city has to offer at any city park by taking part in a favorite sport, visiting the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, or just relaxing.
Veterans’ Memorial Park is on Veterans’ Memorial Parkway, about a half mile north of Port St. Lucie Boulevard. For a list of all 21 city parks and their addresses, click here.
