For kids who want to enjoy some of the fun of summer camp, but do not want to commit to five days a week full-time, the City of Port St. Lucie is offering camps with shortened hours and fewer days for 6 to 11-year olds. 

The Neighborhood Playground Camps are two days a week.  Children can enjoy activities such as supervised games, sports, crafts and field trips in this 6-week program.  

Whispering Pines Park camp will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to noon, and Sportsman’s Park camp will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays, also from 9:30 a.m. to noon.  

Each 6-week camp is $48.55 with some additional fees for field trips, etc. Pre-registration is available at the Community Center on Airoso Boulevard.
