The City is proud of our community members who have stepped forward in making a difference as volunteers. With volunteers ranging in age from 16 to 88, we encourage you to join the team and become a Port St. Lucie volunteer!

Once that appointment takes place, and if it results in your placement as a volunteer, completion of a volunteer packet and a background check (that may include fingerprinting) will be required.

MIDFLORIDA Event Center

The Event Center is a unique, state-of-the-art facility like no other on the Treasure Coast. The Event Center hosts a variety of conferences, weddings, birthday parties and trade shows and is home to the Florida Sports Hall of Fame and an art gallery.

Parks & Recreation

The Port St. Lucie Community Center has an 8,300-square-foot banquet hall with a stage available for almost any event: weddings, parties, performances, shows, dances, seminars, meetings, contests, auditions, etc.

As part of the 100,000-square-foot MIDFLORIDA Event Center, the Parks & Recreation facility offers a fully equipped fitness center, indoor racquetball courts, full-court gymnasium, and so much more.

The Robert E. Minsky Gym is located in Whispering Pines Park. It is an 11,000 square foot gymnasium that features six basketball goals, 200-seat bleachers and two full-sized volleyball courts.

The City of Port St. Lucie is proud of its beautiful and extensive park system, with more than 40 parks and recreational facilities that offer a wide variety of leisure activities to residents and visitors of all ages. Our community parks along with our neighborhood parks offer many opportunities for volunteerism.

The Saints Golf Course consists of an exceptional 18 hole championship course, driving range and practice area. Every time you tee up the ball, the friendly staff at the Saints is helpful and dedicated to making your visit an enjoyable one!
