All building permit applications, forms and related submittals must be in compliance with the 8th edition of the Florida Building Code.

Notice of Commencements must be recorded with the St. Lucie County Clerk of Courts located at 250 NW Country Club Dive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986. NOC's may also be filed at the St. Lucie County Clerk of Court located in Ft. Pierce.

A copy of the recorded Notice of Commencement must be submitted to the Building Department prior to scheduling for inspection. NOC's can be submitted online through the Document Upload Portal. Please allow 24 hours for your NOC to be processed prior to scheduling for inspection.
