Schedule Inspection

Inspection requests cannot be made over the phone and must be scheduled online. Permits will not be completed until all applicable inspections are approved.

Inspection requests can be made 24 hours a day. Inspections scheduled before midnight will be conducted the following business day.

Please refrain from requesting specific inspection times, as our inspectors will make every effort to accommodate your needs within their daily workloads. While we strive to be flexible, please note that we cannot guarantee specific time slots.

To schedule inspections, you must use one of the following options:

  • Option A: Log in to your contractor profile, select the active permit that you would like to schedule an inspection for.
  • Option B: Visit the Schedule Inspection page and enter the permit number and 3-digit pin number located on your receipt and permit application. Select the inspection you would like to schedule and select the submit request button.

The following items must be available, on-site and/or visible for inspections:

  • Permit Card
  • Any approved documents such as approved plans, manufacturer's specifications, product approvals, notice of commencement, etc., if applicable.
  • An adult 18 years or older MUST be present to grant access for inspections within dwelling units or areas surrounded by a privacy structure (i.e. fence, privacy wall).
