Beginning January 1, 2024, certain types of corporations, limited liability companies, and other similar entities created in or registered to do business in the United States must report information about their beneficial owners—the persons who ultimately own or control the company—to the Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). Apply Online for the City of Port St. Lucie Business Tax Receipt. Incomplete applications will be rejected and required to be resubmitted.

 Before you apply, upload all applicable documents:

The City of Port St. Lucie issues a tax receipt, not a license to perform non-regulated trades. Further understand that the issuance of a Business Tax Receipt only allows for casual, minor, or inconsequential work (i.e. painting, trim, etc.) Tax classifications and fees are imposed for each service provided, there is no classification specifically identified as handyman, property preservation, repairs, or maintenance services.
