Innovate PSL Academy

Our City became the first ever to employ a virtual training offering of Brian Elms' (Change Innovation Agency) proven continuous process improvement methodology designed specifically for governments.

The academy introduces and reinforces proven techniques that draw upon industry best practices. The curriculum is largely modeled after Denver's Innovation Academy, which Brian Elms co-founded and led to save $30 million for the City and County of Denver (13,000 FTEs).

Our City has embarked upon training all employees in this Innovate PSL Academy, introducing and reinforcing proven techniques that draw upon industry best practices, leverages process improvement, and empowers our employees to make meaningful and impactful change throughout our government organization. Over 30 innovations were presented from several City departments during the first year of this partnership, including Public Works, where the team embarked on solving the #1 complaint issue from residents the City receives - blocked swales.
