The City is proud of our community members who have stepped forward in making a difference as volunteers. With volunteers ranging in age from 16 to 88, we encourage you to join the team and become a Port St. Lucie volunteer!

Once that appointment takes place, and if it results in your placement as a volunteer, completion of a volunteer packet and a background check (that may include fingerprinting) will be required.

Volunteer Opportunities

Event Center

  • Guest services desk: Welcome visitors with a smile, answer phones and direct calls, perform basic clerical tasks, and interact with guests that inquire about events held at MIDFLORIDA and throughout the City of Port St. Lucie.
  • Hospitality: Assist our Events Specialists with customer service, information gathering, and clerical tasks relating to events held at MIDFLORIDA.

Parks & Recreation

  • Park ambassadors
  • Park patrol ambassadors
  • Customer service front desk
  • Junior basketball program
  • Tot programs
  • Youth volleyball programs
  • Sports coaches
  • General maintenance

The Saints Golf Course

  • Assist in the Pro Shop
  • Provide hospitality services, assist with carts, and support players
  • Work as assistants or starters
  • Help with maintenance tasks, including range upkeep and ball collection
