About OMB

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) oversees the city's total budget function. The department assists the Management Team and City Council in the budgetary process, starting with developing the annual budget and adopting state TRIM requirements.

Financial data and staffing levels are monitored and reported monthly and used to update long-range models. Additional financial modeling and planning are conducted to assist with union negotiations and benchmarking studies.
