McChesney Park & Dog Park

McChesney Park & Dog Park offers a variety of amenities across its 24.5 acres; established in 1995 and home to the Mako Soccer Club.

• Dog Park (3/4 acre) with three separate fenced-in compounds; one each for small, medium and large dogs; with shade structure and water fountain. All dogs who visit must have current licenses and vaccinations. Dogs that are aggressive or in heat are not allowed. There are no lights for nighttime use. Pet owners are responsible for picking up after their pets. Pet waste stations with bags and disposal containers are provided. City’s 3rd Dog Park, opened to the public on August 3, 2019

• Large pavilion (22’x36’) with lights, three 6’ tables, one 8’ table, and a small grill (electric only, no water)
• Fenced playground with multi-purpose play unit for ages 2-12
