Announcement
The tennis, pickleball courts and playground at Sportsman's Park will close at sunset until further notice due to electrical issues affecting the security lighting.
Basketball Court passes: A free mandatory court pass is required to play on the basketball courts. These passes are available at Minsky Gym, MIDFLORIDA Event Center, and the Community Center for play from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Sportsman's Park boasts a state-of-the-art outdoor fitness area, equipped with cardio machines, calisthenics space, and stretching zones. The fitness area includes two Cardio Bikes, an Elliptical Cross Trainer, and an Arm Bike, all delivering the quality workout experience of an indoor gym. These machines are Bluetooth compatible, allowing users to connect via the Kompan fitness app or other activity trackers for real-time feedback on speed, distance, cadence, watts, calories burned, and time. Users can also adjust resistance, access instructional videos, and share activity data online. The Arm Bike is inclusive, accommodating both seated and standing workouts, providing a full-body exercise experience.
The park also features a state-of-the-art playground designed for children of all ages and abilities. The playground includes large climbing structures, spinning activities, slides, swings, and coordination and balance challenges, fostering group play and coordination.
Additionally, Sportsman's Park offers a quiet gathering spot for socializing and relaxation. Unique playground features include the See-Saw Springer, incorporating a sports theme, and the You and Me swing, allowing parents or caregivers to swing face-to-face with their child, enhancing the shared playful experience.
