City of PSL to host opening its newest park - Riverland Paseo Park

What: The City of Port St. Lucie, in collaboration with homebuilder GL Homes, is excited to invite the public to the grand opening of its newest park in Port St. Lucie,Riverland Paseo Parkon Tuesday, July 30. This event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, highlighting the public-private partnership. GL Homes is the developer of the 4,000-acre Riverland community, which caters to active adults and retirees on the Treasure Coast.

Why:With over 40 parks, the City of Port St. Lucie is committed to providing safe, beautiful and accessible recreational spaces for its residents. GL Homes purchased the land and developed Riverland Paseo Park, which spans 12 acres and features a 2-acre dog park, lighted softball and soccer fields, restrooms, bleachers, shade structures, and a concession stand. Located south of Discovery Way on the southwest corner of Community Boulevard and Marshall Parkway, the public park will also directly connect to the Paseo Greenway, providing easy access for Riverland residents.
Adjacent to the Riverland Arts & Culture Center and the Valencia Walk community, Riverland Paseo Park offers recreational facilities for softball, soccer, and dog enthusiasts. The City of Port St. Lucie’s Parks and Recreation Department will maintain the park for all City residents and visitors.
