Mark your calendars for the upcoming community job fair, organized by the City of Port St. Lucie in collaboration with CareerSource Research Coast. This is a golden opportunity for job seekers to connect directly with potential employers and share their skills and dedication.

Free Community Job Fair:

  • Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 3:30-6:30 p.m. (veterans can participate early, starting at 3 p.m.)
  • MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Event Center, 9221 SE Event Center Place
  • Job seekers are encouraged to preregister at www.CityofPSL.com/JobFair to secure their spot!

In preparation for the job fair, CareerSource Research Coast is offering a free online workshop called "Making the Most of the Job Fair" to help job seekers maximize their chances of success. This workshop covers crucial aspects such as application and resume preparation, interviewing techniques, networking and creating a solid pitch. Make sure to preregister to take advantage of this invaluable opportunity!

To assist job seekers in their searches, CareerSource Research Coast and GraceWay Village have partnered on a clothing donation drive. Gently used business casual clothing donations, including button-down shirts, blouses, trousers, skirts, dresses, blazers, and shoes are being accepted and can empower job seekers in finding employment.

Drop-off Location: City of Port St. Lucie Human Resources suite in City Hall, Building A or GraceWay Village at 1780 Hartman, Rd., Fort Pierce until Aug. 13, 2024. Please ensure that all items are clean and in good condition.
