Summer is right around the corner, which means now is the time to register for City of Port St. Lucie youth camps. This year’s summer camps run from June 9 through Aug. 1.

The camps offer a variety of engaging activities designed to foster creativity, teamwork and physical fitness for young people. From arts and crafts to sports and outdoor adventures, there's something for every child to enjoy.

Because of the popularity and high demand of the program, this year the City is expanding the number of camps with three new locations and introducing a new lottery system for households registering for all eight weeks of camp. In addition to our traditional locations at MIDFLORIDA Event Center and Minsky Gym, the City is also adding camps at Manatee K-8 School, Southern Oaks Middle School and Southport Middle School.

Registration will be open from March 14-28. This lottery system will replace the first-come, first-served approach and offer families an equal opportunity to sign up. After the registration period closes the system will randomly select participants, who will be notified with instructions on how to complete enrollment. Please note that no seats are guaranteed until the enrollment is complete after a name has been selected in the lottery.

Households that are registering for individual weeks will be placed by the date and time their application was received, as space allows, after those who signed up for all eight weeks have been placed.

The cost for camps is $140 per week. Half-day camps are $25 per day drop-in only.
