The City has a dynamic line-management solution that reduces wait times allowing customers to complete their business quickly and efficiently.

Join a virtual line to meet with City staff during available hours from the Building Department, Business Tax Division and Neighborhood Services (Code and Housing Divisions). 

Utility System customers can schedule an appointment with Connection Support by calling 772-873-6400.

There are four ways to join a virtual line

Customers can join a line virtually through the City's website or mobile phones via text, the QLess app or at a City Hall kiosk.

You can join a line by texting the characters below to 772-837-5937. You'll be prompted to choose your queue and you'll get a confirmation text as well as updates as to the status of your place in line.

  • For City Hall, text PSL City Hall or Port Saint Lucie City Hall to 772-873-5937.
  • For Building Department, text PSL Bldg Dept or Port Saint Lucie Building to 772-873-5937.

Text Commands

Get the most out of Qless with these text commands:

SMS CODE QLESS ACTION
L Leave the queue: use this command when you need to exit a particular queue.
S Status update: use this command when you want an update on your wait time and place in line.
M More time: Use this command to request additional time if you can't be in the area.
H Help: use this command to get additional assistance with QLess.
W Switch: use this command to switch from text to voice call updates.
N# Notify me in XX minutes: use this command to let QLess know when to send an alert.

➡️Walk-in/On-Site Kiosk

Walk-in customers can use the touch-screen kiosk to join a line. Walk-ins are asked to wait in the lobby until they receive the text from Qless saying they have reached the front of the line.
