As a NELAC-certified lab, we can test for a larger variety of contaminants rather then sending them to contract laboratories, thus saving the City money while producing highly accurate results.

This division is responsible for:

• Sampling, testing of water, wastewater treatment facilities, environmental sampling, testing water distribution system, wastewater collection system, deep injection wells
• Maintaining compliance with regulatory agency permits
• Maintaining back flow preventers
• Testing residential water meters
• Systematic water main flushing
